Affectionately known as the 'Rock of Polynesia', Niue is reputedly the world's largest coral island, boasting dramatic coastal scenery, amazing cave formations and superb scuba diving, as well as many species of exotic birds and butterflies.
We will call at its capital, Alofi, which stretches along the coast, where Captain James Cook unsuccessfully tried to come ashore via the Opaahi Landing in 1774.
