Enjoy a relaxing 11-day cruise from Amsterdam to Basle in Switzerland - an uninterrupted stretch of the mighty River Rhine that flows past medieval castles, timeless wine growing towns, historic cities, legendary forests and towering mountains.
This truly epic voyage begins in cosmopolitan Amsterdam, before heading through the beautiful Dutch countryside to Arnhem, made famous in the film “A Bridge Too Far”.
We will then leave Holland and enter Germany, calling at Düsseldorf, the most elegant metropolis in the Rhine Valley. We'll cruise to Cologne and discover one of Europe's finest Gothic cathedrals, before continuing through the romantic Middle Rhine Valley - a unique landscape between Koblenz and Mainz awarded Unesco World Heritage Site status.
While in the Middle Rhine, we'll visit the towns of Boppard and Rüdesheim. Don't forget, there's an included excursion to stunning Heidelberg, after which the vessel continues past the mysterious Black Forest to Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace. To end this cruise with a flourish, the vessel will call at Basle in Switzerland, a city rich in history, yet young at heart.
