Your Holiday Itinerary
DAY 1: Join the direct flight to Atlanta. Transfer to Montgomery for a one night stay.
DAY 2: Join the coach for the journey to New Orleans. Enjoy two nights at a well located hotel within walking distance of the French Quarter, with its many welcoming restaurants and music bars.This evening, we offer an optional Dinner Cruise on the Mississippi, with live jazz by the popular Dukes of Dixieland.
DAY 3: Today’s optional city tour includes many of New Orleans’s most famous attractions. This afternoon will be at leisure before we offer you the chance to join an excellent optional excursion - sip cocktails at the revolving restaurant on the 33rd floor of the World Trade Centre, before enjoying the renowned “Salute to Satchmo” show at the Bienville House Hotel.
DAY 4: Leave New Orleans and transfer to Memphis, Tennessee - the former home to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll - for a two night stay. Enjoy some good old-fashioned Southern hospitality with our optional Memphis by Night excursion, including dinner at a restaurant along Beale Street.
DAY 5: Don’t miss our full day Memphis: Sounds of the South excursion, which includes Graceland -sure to be one of the highlights of your holiday!
DAY 6: A must for lovers of Soul - an optional excursion to the Rock & Soul Museum and the Stax Museum of American Soul. This afternoon we transfer to Nashville, the Music City, for a two night stay. The revitalized downtown area offers a myriad of restaurants, bars and saloons just waiting to be enjoyed.
DAY 7: After an opportunity to shop for designer bargains at Opry Mills, you will have time at leisure in Nashville. Don’t miss the renowned Country Music Hall of Fame where you’ll find many unique costumes, instruments and personal items of the stars.
DAY 8: Depart Nashville and head to Chattanooga, synonymous with the famous train and song, for a short visit before continuing to the airport for the overnight flight to UK.
