Few destinations are more awe-inspiring than Egypt and Jordan, with mesmerizing beauty that has stolen the hearts of the most adventurous travellers. Stay for three nights in Cairo and admire the magical Pyramids of Giza, before enjoying two nights in Rose Red Petra - not forgetting 5* luxury at a beach resort in Sharm El Sheikh along the way!

YOUR HOLIDAY ITINERARY

DAY 1. Fly from your chosen airport to Amsterdam and join a connecting flight to Cairo. Upon arrival we will transfer you to your centrally located hotel for three nights.

DAY 2. After a buffet breakfast at the hotel we include a fabulous full day guided tour. We will take you first to experience the unique and fascinating Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a marvel of engineering that has puzzled archaeologists over the ages. Few archaeological sites can rival our second destination today, the fascinating 4-mile burial site at Saqqara, with a history that spans almost 3,000 years.

DAY 3. A full day at leisure to explore Cairo, which spreads along the banks of the River Nile for 25 miles north to south.

DAY 4. Today we include a visit to the world famous St. Catherine’s Monastery. Constructed by order of the Emperor Justinian between 527 and 565 AD in a spectacular setting at the foot of Mount Sinai, this remarkable construction houses many priceless works of art. We will stay in St. Catherine’s overnight and include dinner at the hotel.

DAY 5. Depart St. Catherine’s and travel to the sophisticated Egyptian resort of Sharm El Sheikh, for a two night stay at a luxury 5* hotel.

DAY 6. More time at leisure in Sharm El Sheikh. You may choose to relax at the hotel and enjoy the many 5* facilities including a stunning
outdoor pool. Alternatively, you might like to stroll along the attractive sandy beach, the more energetic can go snorkelling or scuba
diving. If you enjoy shopping, the Mall in Sharm El Sheikh sells a range of local and international products.

DAY 7. Travel by coach to the port at Nuweiba to join a one-hour fast ferry crossing to the Jordanian beach resort of Aqaba. From here we will continue to the Rose Red City of Petra for a two night stay.

DAY 8. Today we include a full day tour of aweinspiring city Petra, travelling by horseback through the narrow gorge which leads into the ancient city.

DAY 9. Leave Petra and travel along the Kings Highway to Amman for a fascinating city tour. After dinner, transfer to Amman Airport in time for the flight to the UK.

DAY 10. Arrival at the airport.
